Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully before using our simulators ("Simulators") at Mundell's Multi Hub ("Mundell's"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers ("Users") who access or use the Simulators. By using the Simulators, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Simulators.

1. Staff Assistance
- Please consult Mundell’s staff if you have any questions or require guidance on the safe use of any Simulator or equipment.
- Before using any Simulator, you must consider whether you are medically fit to participate. You should not use the Simulator if you suffer from motion sickness, high blood pressure, a heart condition, a serious psychiatric condition, panic attacks, epilepsy, or claustrophobia, or if you have recently experienced any serious injury, illness or medical condition.
- Anyone who has experienced seizures, loss of awareness or symptoms related to epilepsy must consult a medical professional before use.
- Users must wear appropriate non-marking footwear when using any Simulator or facilities at Mundell's.
- Dirty, studded or spiked shoes are strictly prohibited to prevent damage to equipment and flooring.
- Golf clubs must be used only in the designated Swing Area.
- Users must ensure there is sufficient space when swinging a golf club.
- Users must remain aware of others at all times and maintain a safe distance to prevent injury.
- If you feel dizzy, nauseous, uncomfortable, or unwell at any time while using a simulator, stop immediately and notify a staff member
- Children under the age of 18 may only use the Simulators with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- You must inform a Mundell’s staff prior to your session if there is any reason you believe it may not be safe for you to participate.
- Mundell’s reserves the right to refuse access to any Simulator if Mundell's staff believe it would be unsafe for a participant to continue.
- All Users under 18 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Use of Simulators
1. Age Restriction
- The Simulators are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. Users under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Users may be required to present a valid identification document to verify their age.
- Users must follow all safety instructions provided by our staff regarding the operation and use of the Car and Flight Simulators.
- Users must not tamper with, modify, or attempt to dismantle any equipment or software within the Mundell’s Simulators.
- Users must not engage in any behavior that may cause harm to themselves or others while using the Simulators.
- Users are responsible for any damage caused to the Simulators or other equipment due to their negligence or intentional misconduct.
- For the safest experience, always remain seated while using the Car Simulator.
- When using the Mundell’s Golf Simulator, ensure that the hitting area is clear for one golfer at a time.
- Maintain a safe distance from other participants and equipment to prevent any potential accidents or interference.
- Footwear: Users must wear appropriate non-marking shoes while using the Golf simulator. Dirty or spiked footwear may cause damage to the simulator surface and is strictly prohibited.
- Safety: Users must prioritise their safety and the safety of others when using the Golf Simulator. Follow all safety instructions provided by Mundell’s and refrain from engaging in any behaviour that may cause harm or damage to oneself, others, or the equipment.
- Equipment Handling: Handle the Golf Simulator and its accessories with care and follow the provided instructions. Report any equipment malfunction or damage to Mundell’s staff immediately.
- Personal Conduct: Maintain respectful and appropriate behaviour while using the Golf Simulator. Refrain from engaging in any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct that may adversely affect other Users' experiences.
- Users should be in good health and free from any medical conditions that may be aggravated by physical exertion or virtual reality experiences.
- Users with pre-existing medical conditions, such as heart problems, epilepsy, or pregnancy, should consult with their healthcare provider before using the Simulators.
- Users acknowledge and accept any risks associated with the use of Simulators and release Mundell’s from any liability resulting from such use.
- Users must ensure that their footwear is clean and free from excessive dirt, mud, or other substances that may soil or damage the Simulator equipment or premises.
- Mundell’s reserves the right to refuse access to any User with dirty footwear to prevent potential damage to the Simulators or premises.
- Users shall be responsible for any cleaning or repair costs incurred due to their failure to maintain clean footwear.
- Mundell’s and its staff shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by Users, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or theft.
- Users are responsible for their personal belongings, and Mundell’s shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal items.
- Users shall indemnify and hold Mundell’s harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from their use of the Simulators.
- Users are responsible for any damage caused to the Simulator equipment due to misuse, negligence, or intentional actions. Users will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged equipment.
- It is your responsibility to exercise caution and follow these guidelines to minimize the risk of injury to yourself and others. By using the Mundell’s Simulators, you acknowledge and accept that engaging in these activities involves inherent risks, and you agree to assume full responsibility for your safety and well-being.
- Users are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards other Users and staff members.
- Users must not engage in any illegal, offensive, or disruptive behaviour within Mundell’s Simulators.
- Mundell’s reserves the right to refuse service or entry to any User who violates these Terms or engages in misconduct.
Gift Voucher
1. General
- By purchasing a gift voucher from Mundell’s, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
- Gift vouchers are issued in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are valid only at Mundell’s.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.
- Vouchers that have expired cannot be extended or refunded.
- Gift vouchers can be used in the Café or Entertainment Area.
- Vouchers may be redeemed for Golf, Car, and Flight Simulators, Karaoke Room, retail or Café purchases.
- All activities, rooms, and simulators are subject to availability, and bookings are recommended.
- The voucher holder must present the voucher confirmation email or code to redeem the voucher.
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be resold.
- Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
- If the full voucher amount is not used in a single visit, the remaining balance may be used at a later date within the validity period.
- No change will be given.
- Standard Cancellation Policy applies when using the voucher for entertainment activities.
- Failure to attend the booked session may result in forfeiture of the voucher’s value for that session.
- Users are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner towards other Users and staff members.
Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation
- Cancellations or booking changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking time.
- Please note that booking changes are subject to availability and may not always be accommodated.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking time will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be given for non-attendance.
- Late arrival may result in a shortened session time.
- Sessions will conclude at the original booking end time and will not be extended.
- For group bookings or exclusive venue hire, at least 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellation.
- Cancellations within 72 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- No fee applies for booking changes, subject to availability.
- Cancellation fees will be waived only in circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Road closure
- Natural disasters
- Government advisories
